I am fascinated by your book and the reporting you’ve done. I stumbled across some interviews about you as I’m searching for statistics and studies that back up similar information. I wrote a book about parenting and how it’s become unpleasant to go to school events or watch a kid’s sporting game due to the way adults treat each other, coaches, teachers and their own or other’s kids all in the name of their kid being the best. Your work helps me with my arguments and my work in spreading the word. Character is still what matters most as does perseverance. Being on the top sport team or perfect test scores will only take you so far. We are seeing that with many kids who drop out of sports in college or college itself due to burnout because mom and dad fought to get them those team or school accomplishments. Thanks for your work.

Thanks for your note, Siah! I’m glad the book was helpful.
